Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-07
Invite-only private beta. Not legal advice. These Terms govern your use of Vajra Astra.
1. Overview
Vajra Astra (“the Service”) is an invite-only platform for portfolio research and decision support. It gathers context and keeps the pieces together: market data and fundamentals, company news and macro data, and holdings across accounts, including closed positions. The platform uses all this data to calculate its own scores and actions. That enriched context is used to generate three AI-powered runs: a Position Audit, Debate Analysis, and a Research Desk Report. Idea Copilot helps you find new opportunities and ask questions about them or your portfolios. Signals Engine uses Vajra Astra’s composite scoring to flag ideas for your approval. This AI-powered analysis, combined with the platform’s algorithms and your judgment, can provide a consensus, or be set against each other, to make an informed decision.
The Service is offered on an invite-only private beta basis. There is no subscription fee from the operator. If you save your own model API keys, that provider may bill you. Features, availability, and data behavior may change without notice.
2. Informational use only — not investment advice
Vajra Astra is for informational and research purposes only.
- It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting, or fiduciary advice.
- It does not create a client–advisor, broker–dealer, or fiduciary relationship between you and the operator.
- It does not execute trades, move cash, custody assets, or connect to your brokerage for live order entry.
- Model outputs (actions, scores, debates, Research Desk reports, Idea Copilot answers) are experimental and may be wrong, incomplete, or outdated.
- You remain solely responsible for every financial decision you make.
Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for live trading or for any regulated advisory activity.
3. Investment risk disclosure
Securities and other instruments involve risk, including possible loss of principal.
- Past performance is not indicative of future results. Gain/loss figures, performance-history charts, and similar displays reflect historical or imported data only.
- Portfolio values, prices, and returns may be incomplete, delayed, or based on last available market bars.
- Any “action,” score, bull/bear case, or research rating is a research aid—not a directive to buy, sell, or hold.
You should consider your own objectives, risk tolerance, and, where appropriate, independent professional advice.
4. AI and automated analysis limitations
Features such as Position Audit, Debate Analysis, Research Desk Report, Consensus blends, Idea Copilot, and Signals Engine use automated rules and/or third-party language models.
You acknowledge that:
- outputs may hallucinate, omit material facts, or misstate prices, filings, or news
- different models may disagree; “consensus” or “final” labels are product blends, not guarantees
- runs may fail, partially complete, or use fallback logic when providers are unavailable
- prompts and relevant portfolio context may be sent to third-party providers to complete a request
Treat AI output as a starting point for your own review, not as authoritative research.
5. Market data, news, and freshness
Market prices, fundamentals, company-news headlines, news ages, and macro/Fed context shown in the Service may be delayed, cached, or stale.
- Refresh controls and staleness indicators are helpers, not a real-time market data feed commitment.
- Company-news lookback may be configured in Settings by any user. Do not treat headline panels as a complete news wire.
- Do not assume displayed prices are executable quotes.
- Import timestamps and “holdings updated” times reflect when data entered the Service, not exchange clocks.
6. Private beta status
During private beta you acknowledge that:
- features may be incomplete, experimental, or removed
- scores, labels, and historical outputs may be recalculated or revised
- uptime, latency, and data completeness are not guaranteed
- invite access may be revoked at any time
- some accounts are limited to a stated trial window; when that window ends, product access may stop until an operator extends it
7. Eligibility and accounts
You may use the Service only if you:
- are at least 18 years old
- received a valid invite, or opened a research-session link you were given
- provide accurate account information
- keep your credentials confidential
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Email hello@vajrastra.co promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Submitting a password-reset request does not email you a link right away. After someone reviews the request, we send you a link with the reset token.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- abuse, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
- use the Service for unlawful purposes
- attempt to access another user’s data or bypass access controls
- upload or submit content you do not have the right to use
- share your invite or credentials with unauthorized parties
- misrepresent the Service’s outputs as regulated investment advice
The operator may suspend or terminate access for safety, security, misuse, or operational reasons.
9. Data you provide
You may provide or generate:
- account and authentication information (for example email)
- portfolio holdings, imports, account metadata, and notes
- watchlists and research workflow inputs
- prompts and AI workflow context
- optional third-party model API keys (BYOK)
- uploaded or pasted model outputs
You represent that you have the right to provide that data for use in the Service. Do not upload data you are not authorized to process.
10. Third-party services and bring-your-own keys (BYOK)
Certain features send relevant prompt or portfolio context to third-party providers so the feature can run. Examples may include:
- model routers / providers (for example Perplexity, OpenAI, Google / Gemini, Anthropic)
- market-data and news providers used by the platform
If you supply your own API keys:
- you are responsible for provider bills, quotas, rate limits, and compliance with that provider’s terms
- keys are stored encrypted on the server and are removed when the account is deleted
- key misuse or leakage under your account remains your responsibility
- the operator is not liable for third-party charges or outages
Availability and quality of third-party services are outside the operator’s control.
11. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranties are made regarding accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Vajra Astra will not be liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, data loss, downtime, third-party provider failures or charges, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the Service.
If liability cannot be fully disclaimed, it is limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law.
13. Termination
Access may be revoked at any time during private beta. You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete the account from Settings → Account.
Deletion and retention of your data are described in the Privacy Policy and Data Retention documents.
14. Changes
These Terms may be updated as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms when that update is communicated in the product. The dated version linked from the product is the working source of truth.
15. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, workflows, and branding, belongs to the operator. These Terms let you use the Service. They do not transfer that ownership. You keep the rights you already have in the portfolio data and prompts you submit.
16. Contact
